1. Content As A Product

Great content moves the needle - it’s not publishing 20 pieces for posting content.

It’s creating content that serves a purpose and solves a problem; therefore, treat content like a product.

This is a shift in mindset where your content:

  • Serves a specific purpose
  • Solves a specific problem
  • Takes in user feedback
  • Optimizes based on first-party data

2. Fueling Your Content

Every piece of content travels - some further than others.

And distribution is how you increase any piece of content’s mileage.

Great content distribution falls under four pillars: Repurpose, Repost, Remix, and Reinvent.

Here’s the simple breakdown:

Repurpose - Repurpose your pillar piece of content onto other mediums.

Repost - Re-share your content every so often.

Remix - Change how you deliver the content via different formats.

Reinvent - Take the piece of content and say it differently.


3. Test Before The Best

Before allocating resources and time to a large piece of content - create a testing method to validate your content.

Based on the response, determine if it’s worth it to scale or not.

For example:

Write a single tweet before writing a thread or blog post.

Film a youtube short before filming a 10-minute youtube video.

Test the appetite with an appetizer before creating the entree.

If the appetite is there - scale.
